Between 2018 and 2020, I helped lead the brand refresh for The Sims 4 in partnership with Skylight, guiding the creative and design direction across visual identity, motion, and art. At the time, the brand felt stark and minimal, lacking the vibrancy and playfulness that defined The Sims. Our goal was to reintroduce color, energy, and character back into the system—infusing it with the quirky humor and upbeat personality players loved. The result was a more expressive, dynamic brand language that brought warmth and individuality back to the franchise.
