Flawed Film Festival
Case Study
2014–2017
Flawed Film Festival is a conceptual identity and campaign created for a film festival dedicated to director Paul Thomas Anderson. The project explored the recurring themes within his body of work such as loneliness, addiction, and fractured family relationships, and translated them into a cohesive visual language. Drawing inspiration from Anderson’s cinematic trademarks like long takes, emotional intensity, and rhythmic use of music, the identity captures the beauty and chaos of imperfection, celebrating the flawed humanity at the heart of his films.
